Monday, April 19, 2004 ( 2:35 pm ) Last week was quite a busy one, I'll start with Thursday... Thursday Leeds may be a place of common smelly people, but I quite enjoyed myself at the Royal Armouries Museum. This place has five floors full of sharp, shiny and highly damaging objects... Yes, it is my heaven. I watched three shows put on my the museum. One was the story of Arthur pulling the sword out of the rock, an other was two men showing us how to sword fight, and the other was 2 men and a woman on horses showing us various hunting methods. I also got to use a cross bow, which made my day :D Friday Back on the train again, but this time I went straight past Leeds for York! I was greeted there by Capps and Mr Sarcastic Arse and was then driven to Gav and Jono is his lufly flat. I bought Jono an air football game for his birthday, which went down a treat with most people *scowls at Capps*. Capps and Gav cooked a roast for us all, which was pretty good... Although not as good as Jono's and nowhere near as good as my mum's :D Saturday Got up about 8ish and found everyone asleep, except Jono who was chuckling along to his new Monkey DVD. Everyone else who joined us arrived at about 1ish.. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting though. The girls were all friendly enough I suppose. we went out more or less straigh away to a few pubs for drinks and silly chit chat. I was well out of it by 4ish, which I thought was quite good going :D Jono went out dressed as Avid Merrion and a few strangers came over for their picture taken with him, he's quite, quite mad. We went back to the flat at about 6 or 7 where everyone got had pizza, drunk more and got ready to go out again. Jono got some of his leg waxed by me infront of a huge crowd of party goers, which I found extreamly satifying and amusing. We went back out to a pub (Dunno what time), Jono was still avid and planned to go like this to the club. By the time we got to the pub I had sobered up quite a lot and was without money, which was mighty dissapointing... but I got to lick the bottoms out of everyone shots... mmmmm :D Jono gave me a rose, which was nice. Although apparently he bought it because he fancied the girl who was selling them, and I wasnt the first person he offered it to... oh well... :( Everyone went off to the club after, except me, Gav and Capps. I was going to go, but I was too sober for it, and I hate clubs. Sunday I was woken up around 2ish by people coming home from the club (Minus Simon, who pulled and ended up in Wakefield for the night). I wasn't going to complain about it though coz I didn't want to go to bed in the first place. We sat around the table telling Jokes and stories for a couple of hours before people started to leave and go to bed. I claimed the other half of Jono's bed (oooer ;D) coz I didn't want to be on the floor... that's the only reason... HONEST!! Woke up about 9, everyone was watching Teachers and generally moping about in a tired and groggy state. Simon arrived back at 12ish where he was greeted with many questions about the night before, and who he was with. A few of us walked into town for food and then we went to the pub to watch a bit of football. I didnt stick around there for long though, the lack of blue and white stripes bored me to tears. I went back to the flat to find Gav and Simon watching the rallying instead... eeesh, I can't win! I left for home shortly after. Hellooooooo... is anybody out there? Look's like it's just me and you, Beck! This last week has been so quiet! I've hardly seen or heard a peep out of anybody! I suppose I have been out quite a bit though and may have missed people, but I think it's more likely that everyone else is out having fun too. The weather is getting finer so people are making the most of it, I suppose. I went to Elsecar yesterday and rode a steam train, which was mighty thrilling. I saw loads of cute bunny rabbits too that I wanted to take home with me :( Gonna York on Friday and I can't wait. It's going to be quite fun and interesting. I'll probably meet a whole load of new people which I hate doing, especially when there's women amoung them. I'd rather curl up and die than feel totally intimidated by a group of people, who probably don't even give a shit in the first place, which makes me a complete tit! I also went to Hull today and bought more stuff. I need to stop buying stuff :p I got an offline message from Capps today saying sorry that he missed me today and last night, and to have a good weekend. In other words 'ner ner ner Gemma's at my house this weekend and not at yours! :p' Bastid! Tuesday, April 06, 2004 ( 9:34 pm ) I planned to go to Meadowhall today... But I didn't. My blog has been moving very slowly of late, I only posted 3 entries in about 3 weeks and it's very uncalled for! Even though I have nothing interesting happening in my life at the moment, I am going to try my best to keep this thing in motion. So here goes with the news... Yesturday I sent of an application form for a job. If I get the job I will be teaching people over 55 how to use computers and the internet. It's quite good pay and I am quite looking forward to hearing from them, even though I will need to start gettting up in a morning. I have also started to enquire about driving lessons and they're bloody expensive! I'm planning on going to Meadowhall tomorrow... But I might not. Monday, April 05, 2004 ( 10:39 pm ) Weekends are always great when I get to go up to the norther north and spend time with lots of faberoo people. Last weekend consisted of alcohol (naturally), Jono dish's (giggles), new people, music, telly, music telly, a gig, tesco, reading the radio times at 6am, being eyed up by a woman, and stuff... :D I think my fav part was the stuff :p (followed by Jono's meals and the alcohol, of course) The weekend also had its bad points unfortunatly. I was on the platform when my train left for York, which meant I was an hour late to meet Capps. I made 2 of my fingers bleed, one on my left hand when I was getting into Capps' car and the other was my left little finger, which I hurt whilst laying on top of Jono (.... er... snot rude btw :p). It wouldnt stop bleeding either, no one seemed bothered about that though... too busy looking at other things... humph! No wait, I wanna take back the 'humph' if I complain I might not get looked at again... la la la :D I was also quite ill for some of the time, but I'm ok now :D Well now I'm pooped coz I didnt get much sleep the entire time I was there (prolly about 7 hours) and I have a feelin it's gonna take a while to catch up.
