Monday, November 29, 2004 ( 2:37 pm ) Christmas is cancelled. Song of the Day Artist: Red Hot Chili Peppers Title: Venice Queen Album: By The Way Monday, November 22, 2004 ( 1:30 am ) I have decided to perfect my handwriting by teaching myself to write with my left hand. It can't be that hard because I already know how to write with one of my hands, it just a matter of getting used to holding a pen properly and moving it in the right direction :p I already started practicing tonight with my alphebet, which was fun! What do you think?

Today I saw some relatives who I haven't seen for a few years, and who I've never really seen very often anyway... THERE IS NO NEED TO KISS ME! YOU DO NOT KNOW ME! Actually it was rather shocking that aunty Christine seemed to know about my love for pickled onions. Apparently I amazed her, when I was about 3 years old, by the amount of pickled onions I managed to consume. Then uncle Keith said that I was born with a jar :s I didn't even know I'd been addicted to them from that early age, I thought it was just for the last 10 years or so! Actually just a few weeks ago I found out that my mum once saw that the cupboard in the kitchen had a chair up against it, and when she opened it there was an open jar with a fork in it.... *coughs* DON'T LOOK AT ME! ;D Song of the Day Artist: Somebody Told Me Title: The Killers Album: Hot Fuss Wednesday, November 17, 2004 ( 2:43 pm ) *sigh* I feel like a big pile of yuckyness! I seem to be ok if i stay seated, but walking round and doing small things like making coffee, brings me out in hot sweaty flushes :s I usually wouldn't mind so much but It's Wednesday, and I usually go to my nans to be fed! She's got a joint of pork today and I really can't miss out, so I'm just going to have to walk there and try and ignore how dreadful I'm feeling. I've started making my Christmas cards for this year. So far I have made 7 and they're looking rather nice, I think. Simpler paintings to last year, but more to the decoration of the card. They look good :D I'm sure most people who read this can expect one in the post sometime next month :) Song of the Day Artist: David Bowie Title: Seven Years in Tibet Album: Earthling Sunday, November 14, 2004 ( 9:30 pm ) Today people have been asking me what I want for my birthday. It seems like a lightyears away, but it's only 6 weeks and 2 days away :s This means that in just over 4 weeks time, it will be a year since I went to Center Parcs with my very close friends, who seem not quite so close anymore :( *Get's herself all upset about how far away and skint most of her friends are* I'm not looking forward to Christmas at all. At the moment I can't afford to buy anything for anyone. I've told everyone that I'm cancelling mine till January, well that's when their presents will turn up anyway :p Our new Kitchen is coming on Tuesday. I'll be at work, unfortunately... :p How weird does that sound? Work! Hahahahah!! Song of the Day Artist: The Killers Title: Mr. Brightside Album: Hot Fuss Monday, November 08, 2004 ( 10:55 am ) Finally! My session expired and they wouldn't let me back in for aaaages! Mind you, can't blame em. I wouldn't let me back in either :D So, what have I been up to? Well I went on a teacher taster course and got some voluntary work out of it, which is nice. I now go into a school twice a week for full days in the classrooms. I don't get any money for it, obviously, but it's a start. Halloween and bonfire night were a success. I took my cousin trick or treating on his street. I was amazed by the amount of sweets he brought back with him. People seem to be way more prepared for it these days. Last time I went trick or treating I got a digestive biscuit and 20p. As for bonfire night, I was invited to a bonfire at my aunt's friend's house. She let me have 2 meat pies.... result = Wonderful :D I have recently been chatting to a friend of Damian's who I met whilst in Australia. He has started coming online more often than he used to, which is nice because he's fun to talk to. It has got me reminiscing the time that I was in Australia, and it's making me wanna go back so much! I have decided to aim for 2006, so I need to save between £2000 and £3000 before then. Last time I had just under £2000 (Including tickets, passport and visa) and I found that I didn't have enough money to travel properly, which is something I wanna do next time round. Anyway, fingers crossed :) Song of the Day Artist: Siouxsie And The Banshees Title: Israel Album: Once Upon A Time - The Singles |
