Tuesday, May 31, 2005 ( 8:13 pm ) I have just spent 3 lovely days in York. I arrived on Sunday. We spent most of the day in a pub. Sheffield Wednesday had their playoff final against Hartlepool, which I was petrified about. We ended up winning so everything was good (after being 1-0 up, 2-1 down, and 2-2 at full time). By this time everyone was rat arsed and more than excited! The atmosphere in the pub was great because there were fans in from both clubs. There was a guy who we got talking to, at the front of the pub, who got extreamly drunk and got everyone singing. This sparked off friendly banter from the Pool fans. It was great :D Me and Jono were alone in the flat for 3 or 4 hours while Mark, Capps and Julian went into town to meet Gav. They were off to see a comedian. Jono was a sleep for the majority of the time, so I was left watching Team America on my own. I also read a bit of my book and pottered around the flat a bit. I spend a couple of hours deciding wether or not I should wake Jono. Last time this happened I was shouted at because we were late for food... so I decided, in the end, to wake him. I had to really coz he was going into town to meet the lads to go clubbing. I didn't get to see Gav, which was a shame. Him and julian went straight home after the comedy gig thingo. Once Jono had left, I went atraight to bed. This was at about 11:15. By 11:45 I was woken up by Mark tapping on the window wanting to be let in. He had decided ot to go clubbing because he had to be up for work at 6am the next day(poor him). We actually ended up talking for the best park of an hour about numerous things. Thing's from the past, current feelings, how to say 'cool' properly without an L, and mushrooms were some of the things we discussed :p *giggles* We sorted a lot of stuff out between ourselves and I think we both feel a lot better for it. The end :D Monday was spent mostly indoors. We went for a curry for our teas (curry night, duh!) and we went for a walk along the wall. There was some running too, actually (shock horror!!). I pretty much went straight to bed once we got back to the flat. Tuesday... Today. We went for a walk in York (that rhymes!) in the afternoon, which was nice. Bloody hot though... which is sign that summer is here :D We went back to the flat, packed up our stuff and left for the train station. The train was packed. I was stood up all the way home, which was horrible because my back hurt and it was really hot and stuffy! There was a pregnant woman stood next to me... she must have felt awful! The train from Sheffield to Chap was full too, but I managed to get a seat and a free ride. The conductor must have seen the hauds of people and decided to stop at the far end of the train. I'm really tired now. Sunday night has caught up with me. I didn't get much sleep becase it was really warm. I hate that when I'm trying to sleep! (I'm saying 'duh' a lot today) Monday, May 23, 2005 ( 3:13 pm ) Today I had a lufly exam. It was pretty easy. Got 75%... which is nice. KT was very good. More than very good. Got some pictures that I might out up one day. Wednesday, May 18, 2005 ( 1:35 pm ) It's been a while... lets catch up. I've spent the past few weeks working hard. I have had two assingments and a professional project on the go at once, and it got a little intence for a wee while. Got the last of them handed in on Monday, and today I had my first exam. Eeep!! It wasn't so bad actually, I'm not too worried about it. Maybe I should be worried about me not being worried, because it's not like me not to be worried. *starts to panic* Does anybody know where Cappsy's gone? Havn't seen him for a week and it's not like him to be away from his computer, is it? *panics a bit more* I am going to see KT Tunstall on Friday night. Can't wait, coz I rekon she's bloody great! Gonna York the weekend after to get pissed with Jono. That should be fun. Sheffield Wednesday have got into the playoff finals, so me and the Jono will be pretty excited and shitting ourselves a bit on the sunday :D ummm what else have I done...? Not much. I didn't think I'd run out of things to say so soon. Oooh, I went to the home leg of the play offs with Jono last Thursday. How did I manage to almost forget that? eeesh!! That was fun. I had a pie and shivered a lot. I also got back ache coz it was tense... I always get backache when I go to see Sheff Wed, haha... bless em :D |
