So today I write to you hoping that people still view this from time to time and haven't completely forgotten about me! Although, from the lack of action round here, it looks as though I have forgotten about you, but I promise you that I haven't. I'm just a lazy cow :D

Apparently it was 2006 when I last posted anything on here, so let me try and think what I have been up to since then...

For Christmas I got lots of smelly stuff. I got the latest Beck album, a bigger memory card for my camera, some chocolate, and that is all I can remember.
Just before Christmas I had an interview for a place on a PGCE course at Sheffield Hallam Uni. It went well shit, but the rest of the candidates must have been shitter because I got a place... yay for me!

Once again I tried to arrange a night out for my birthday, but nobody could make it as usual so I ended up doing nothing! Nothing nothing nothing :(
As for other birthdays this year: My dad turned 50 and my cat became a teenager... she's always had the attitude of one though!

I continued working as a volunteer at a local Primary school, although I was also doing quite a bit of (paid) cover work too, which was nice! I was doing permanent cover from Easter time because someone left and it saved them getting anybody new in. The annoying this is that if i wasn't starting my course in September I would have probably been offered the job permanently...

It's now the summer holidays and I have left the school for good :( I'm extremely nervous about starting University in September. I'm kinda hoping these next 2 weeks go really slowly, even thought the last 5 weeks have wizzed by. I'v still got a ton of preparation to do and I'm sick of looking at it all.

There are things I'm looking forward to next month for though. I'm going to York next weekend to see the usual people. I was hoping to take a couple of friends along with me, but non of them can make it. We've also got our Sheffield meet to look forward to. Chinese food and good company is always fab! Also there's a new Sims expansion pack and a new album from PJ Harvey out in September. So it's going to be a packed month with lots of money spending going on :s

Hello everyone! It's almost that time of year again!!! Well it will be in 5-6 months anyway... MY BBQ! :D I have to start planning it early this year because it failed to happen last year... that won't happen again! It better not do any way!

Once upon a time there was a (not so) beautiful girl called Beck. She lived in a place called Thorpe, just outside Sheffield. One day Beck decided she was bored. Really really bored, so she decided she needed to do something about it. She thought and thought and thought but nothing came into mind. That day ended with the same amount of boredom it began with, so she gave up for the night and decided to go to bed. That night she drempt about the usual things Beck dreams of, a fun life full of men and stuff :p

The next morning Beck woke to realise that she would once again have to go through yet another really dull and lifeless day. She let out a big sigh and then got up and ready to leave for university. On the way there the same kinds of people got on and off the bus as the day before, and week before, and month before. It has gotten to the point where she could guess which people would be traveling to which stops.

Once she got into university she sat down, with a cup of coffee, ready for the lecture to start. The lecturer was late, as usual, and it wasn't long after he started speaking that Beck began to tiredly day dream. Her day dreams weren't up to much. She mostly thought about what stationary items she needed for her module folders. She decided she would go and purchase those after the gibbering idiot at the front stopped going on about a load of useless dribble. The worst thing about it all was that she had to come back into uni in an hours time to listen to the same gibbering idiot in a tutorial!

At 13:00 Beck left university and slowly walked towards the bus stop. She knew she would have to wait ages and watch hundreds of other buses sail by stupidly frequently. Her bus is suppose to arrive every twelve minutes, so why does she always see four 41s drive by within that time?

Beck was home for half past two, just in time for a cup of tea and a biscuit. This was about the most exciting thing that had happened all day. A tiny bit of sodding chocolate. She sat down with her tea in front of her computer and watched a few programs she had downloaded earlier. Before she knew it, it was gone 17:00. Yet another eventless, meaningless, boring day had gone by. What a waste.

Yes I'm bored :p

Hello fans!
I have only just started back at uni and I'm already sick of it! I'm not just sick of being at uni, I'm sick of traveling there too. The buses are crap! One minute they're early, so you miss the damn thing, then they're late. So even though you expect to be late anyway, you end up being ten times more late than planned! They have also added an extra chuck of journey to the route, which stinks. No one ever gets on the damn thing round there anyway. You may have guessed by now, that the reason I am whingeing about this is because I should be in a lecture, but I'm not because the bus made me late. Yes, that's right. ARGH!

On the bright side, I am goin to the pub later! Woohoo! I haven't been to a pub since I was in York about 3 weeks ago. I am going with some friends from uni, and we're meeting an ex-uni person there, which should be fun!

My mum's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. She is having a party in a bar on the canal basin in Sheffield. I have invited quite a few people, but I am only expecting a couple of them to turn up... it's what usually happens... *sulk* should be fun though. The food sounds great! We're having a hot buffet, including stew and dumplings, potato curry, and white wine chicken... it's posh btw :D We have to keep the menu quiet though, because we have a family full of fussy eaters who might turn their noses up at certain things... what idiots!

I hope you all enjoyed christmas and the new year. I did. Twas funny... so funny in fact that I can't be arsed to type stuff about what I did and the presents I got.

I was at Jono's for the new year. I got drunk. I Won at Monopoly. I went home again :D

My birthday was ok too. It really only ended this weekend coz I was still celebrating with my boys in York :D I also had a friend up from these parts to meet my luverly menly men friends. She went down a treat, I think :D But she's not invited again because she pinched all my attention! :O

I saw Scotty and Hannah in York, which was great! Very short and sweet, but great :D

I got a laptop for my birthday... :D
