      ( 6:59 pm )
My first week at uni is over, but it doesn't feel like it. I have things to do, that should have already been done, that I haven't been able to do. Let's just say I am already feeling the pressure, and it's not pleasant. Aside from that, I'm behind on some of my tutorial work already, because for 2 tutorials in a row I have been unable to connect to my section of SQL Server. I am now the only one with this problem, and it is bloody annoying.

Now lets have a whinge about money. I should have been getting my loan tomorrow (5 working days after enrollment). Because I was having trouble with accounts and such in my tutorials, I thought it would be for the best if I visited the finance department and see how my loan request was. Good job I did! Everyday at 16:00 they send out everyone's requests who have enrolled that day. For the last 3 days mine has been rejected, and no one would have realised if I hadn't gone to check myself. For some reason the computer fails to accept the accounts that have a course end date entered, and mine had one. So I now have to wait another 3-4 days till I'm going to have some money. This isn't good news, as I am supposed to be going out on Saturday and Monday night. I wanted to go out and buy some new shoes tomorrow too. Gits! :(

What a great start to the day! It's obviously not enough to have to get up at 7am to be in uni for 9am. 10 mins into the frikkin lecture and some old bint comes in tellin us we have to leave because there is an exam taking place in there. We didn't fucking know this, and neither did our tutor (who very amusingly gave the old woman the finger on her way out). Apparently we were assigned a new room for today... it would help if we were informed though, don't you think?

So now I am going to sit here and tell you stuff, to pass away the free time I have in uni.

I'll tell you about my weekend.
On Friday Cappsy came to the lovely Sheffield, so that he could come and see Diesel Park West with me and my family (Family includes: Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Mums, Dads, Brothers, Brothers girlfriends, and a handful of Sheffield's NHS Trust). Before meeting my dad at the venue, we decided to go for a wonderful Chinese buffet to absolutely stuff our faces with gorgeous deepfried crap! We then slowly walked round the corner to the Boardwalk, where my dad was stood outside looking for the band... that he had managed to lose on the Parkway (Parkway: Long dual carrageway leadin from the M1 to the centre of Sheffield). John (The singer) had arrived safely, but the van, carrying the rest of the band and all the instruments, was quickly speeding its way to the other side of Sheffield (If things like this didn't happen then I suppose the event would just merge into any other). Once we got them back, me and Capps helped unload the van and we stuck around for the sound check. I was peed off coz I only got to carry 2 mic stands. Capps carried a mic stand, a cymbal, and half a box [-(
Anyway... The gig was great (The support bands were crapper than a really crappy piece of crap), I took lots of photos on my new beautiful camera, and I managed to get Capps lots of freebies :p (He was my +1 on the door, and He went home with 3 CDs).

I'm gonna go and play some yahoo games or somethin now.
Bye.

The away choice is fine, but the home kit is rubbish rubbish RUBBISH!!
GRRRR!!

      ( 4:23 pm )
Today has been extremely hideous and tiring! The children have been completely hyper (goodness knows what the dinner ladies are feeding them!), they have refused to do practically everything that has been asked of them (That's not just for me though, it's the same for the permanent TA and their teacher). They are so loud, too! They are the loudest class in the school on good days... and today was not a good day. You could probably hear them from space. Trying to talk over the noise is practically impossible, especially for me coz my tonsils are red, swollen and sore AGAIN! *whimpers*

I have two gigs to go to in the next couple of weeks. On Friday I'm going to see Diesel Park West, who are a band from Leicester. My dad runs their official Website.
The second gig is Mark's band (Mark is Cappsy's brother, In case you didnt know or you have a shit memory). They better be good [-(
Actually, I'm sayin all this and I'm not going to either for definite yet. I have to see how university pans out over the next few days. I need to buy some new shoes.

Do you think it is sad to go to a convention for a rock band of any kind? Please be honest! My dad wants to take me to one for XTC this year. Apparently it is going to be over three days, and I'm going to have to talk to anal people, for the whole duration, about music. Yes they are my favourite band, but could I stand talking about them to a bunch of weirdos for three days? There are rumours that a couple of ex band members will be there, which would be cool... but Andy won't be there :(

      ( 1:10 pm )
This is my last day of being bored and doing nothing... well until Wednesday :p I go back to work tomorrow with all the little kiddy winks :D I hope I get to use my creative head a bit. When I first started there all we did for ages was maths and english. It wasn't until Christmas was approaching that I got to mess about with glue and glitter... *prepares for withdrawal symptoms*

Did I mention that I go back to university on the 21st? Well I do, and I'm looking forward to it a lot. The last year has flown by too quickly though, it's very scary :s It is very hard to believe that it's over a year ago since my last class at uni and since I was at Center Parcs. I know I keep goin on about this, but I feel very strongly about it :p

It's January, which means that spring is only 2 months away! I can't wait for the weather to get all cheerful and warm again. Having said that, this winter hasn't been Particularly cold, it's been very mild... not enough snow :p
I want it to be sunny so I can play tennis and football... or at least bug people all day, pestering them to play tennis and football with me :p Lucky for them, I'm not at all annoying or irritating for the rest of the year... *cough* :D

Well I'm off now coz Neighbours is about to start :p
Bye, fans!

Well I had a birthday, so I'm now old, very old. My childhood is now officially over so, in theory, I should be acting as if my childhood is over... not gonna happen :p *blows raspberries at everyone*

It doesn't seem like a week ago since I was in Northallerton, but it is. Right now we would be on our way over to the pub (already nicely drunk :p). It was a great night! Lots of alcohol, food, flirting, laughing, revealing conversations (much of which I would regret in the morning).
Anyway, I had a massive hangover the next morning... I spent most of the day sleeping, holding my head, and throwing up. But it all adds to the fun I suppose.
Sunday we did bugger all, cept for tea. Jono got us all pack into the car, just to drive us into the pub carpark next door... didn't fool me though. I knew what he was upto, and I think that kinda pissed him off :D Well he bought everyone a great meal and we were all nice and stuffed.
Monday me and Jono went to the football, it was great! We had a mini road trip for the north north to the south north, which was pretty kewl. We won the football too, woohoo!! :D

Right. For my birthday I got:

- Digital Camera (Perl white Olympus mju 410)
- Stripy clock
- Purple watch
- Champers , Bucks Fizz and Pimms
- ER series 2 DVD
- Book about shoes
- Siouxsie and the Banshees B-sides and rarities boxset
